Guidelines for Using a Vacuum Cleaner: From Preparation to Maintenance
2025-02-10
Preparation Before Use

Read the instruction manual: Carefully read the product manual to understand the vacuum cleaner's functions, operation methods, precautions, and maintenance information.

Check accessories and equipment: Ensure that the vacuum cleaner's accessories are complete, including the dust head, suction tube, filter screen, etc., and that they are in good condition and correctly installed. Inspect the power cord for any damage or aging, and make sure the plug is securely connected to the outlet to avoid electric leakage risks.

Clear large debris from the floor: Before using, remove larger pieces of garbage, paper scraps, etc., from the floor to prevent clogging the vacuum cleaner's air inlet or suction tube.

Proper Usage Methods

Select the appropriate attachment: Choose the corresponding attachment based on different cleaning scenarios and needs. For example, use a flat attachment for cleaning floors and a crevice tool for cleaning sofa seams.

Adjust the suction power: Some vacuum cleaners allow you to adjust the suction power according to the cleaning object and amount of dust, achieving better cleaning results and saving energy.

Keep the nozzle close to the ground: When vacuuming, try to keep the nozzle as close to the ground or the surface being cleaned as possible without applying excessive force, which could affect the suction and damage the nozzle.

Move the vacuum cleaner slowly: Operate the vacuum cleaner at a slow and steady pace to ensure full coverage of the cleaning area and effective suction of dust and dirt.

Avoid continuous use for extended periods: To prevent the motor from overheating, it's best not to use the vacuum cleaner continuously for more than 2 hours at a time.

Precautions During Use

Avoid vacuuming inappropriate items: Do not vacuum flammable materials, wet soil, sewage, metal shavings, sharp objects, etc., as this may damage the vacuum cleaner or pose safety hazards.

Prevent the power cord from tangling: Pay attention to organizing the power cord during use to avoid it getting caught or tangled on furniture or other objects, which could lead to tripping accidents or damage to the power cord.

Monitor for abnormalities: If you notice reduced suction, unusual noises, overheating of the motor, or foreign objects blocking the suction tube during use, stop immediately, check and clear any blockages, and then continue after troubleshooting.

Maintenance After Use

Clean the vacuum cleaner: After use, promptly clean components such as the dust container and filter screen to remove dust and debris, ensuring unobstructed suction.

Dry and store properly: If the dust container or filter screen has been washed, dry them before reinstalling and using to prevent moisture buildup leading to bacteria growth or damage to the machine. Then store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, ventilated place, avoiding dampness and collisions.
